Welcoming the Storting to Houston

Last month, NACC Houston, Innovation Norway and the Norwegian Embassy welcomed a 15-person delegation from the Storting’s Labour and Social Affairs Committee to Houston.

The committee was in Texas as part of a U.S. program that also took them to San Francisco and Austin. In Houston, they wanted to hear directly from the people doing business between Norway and Texas.

NACC members, partners and Norwegian startups joined the reception at Innovation Norway’s office. Several of the startups were in town for Houston Energy & Climate Week. The conversation covered the Norway–Texas relationship and what it really takes to build and operate a business here.
