Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce

The Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce (NACC) was established in 1915 to assist in promoting trade and goodwill between the people of the United States and Norway. A non-profit, nonpolitical group, the NACC serves as a forum for business, personal, cultural, and educational exchanges benefiting the common interests of the two nations.

In the Fall of 1998, the Board of directors adopted the following Mission Statement:

"NACC's primary objective is to establish a meeting place for Americans and Norwegian companies as well as individual business executives in the Houston area.

The Purpose of the meeting place is to exchange ideas, share experiences, and facilitate networking. In creating such a meeting place, the NACC will feature guest speakers and offer luncheons, various social gatherings, and special events.

A secondary objective for NACC, upon request, is to refer requests from companies or individuals to the appropriate Norwegian-American channels or facilitate such requests internally through its members."
